It's August 23rd. It's THE race to do. It's the oldest race on the lake. It's your chance to t-bone an A Scow or yell for rights against an X boat. It's got a great Corn Roast on the Island later in the day. It's the Burton Cup.
Be There!

US Jr. National Championships
Congratulations to Kaye Siemers and Hilary Kenyon
2nd in US Sailing's Jr. Doublehanded National Championship
With one race remaining Hilary and Kaye (daughter of Ross Seimers) have secured second place at the US Sailing doublehanded National Championship. This is a huge accomplishment and represents the peak of US 420 sailing. Few sailors are able to even attend this uni-sex ladder event, but these two WCSC sailors have qualified and kicked some rear. Way to go! More and FULL REPORT
Eric Sauter Also Rocks
Longtime Team Wayzata sailor Eric Sauter is expected to finish mid-fleet in the Singlehanded National Championship. But this is a ladder event that requires sailors to qualify just to attend, and making it to the show is a big deal. More and FULL REPORT
