You, too, can be a corporate sponsor........

Corporate Sponsors lead the way with financial and/or in-kind assistance in supporting the Sailing Center. By contributing to the Regatta event, you show your customers, employees and the community that you care about what’s important to them.

In addition to Corporate Sponsorships, attendees raise funds to support the cause. Participants in the sailing event pay a registration fee and are encouraged to ask friends and family to support them. In 2010, over 50 boats participated. In 2008, the first ever Wine on Wayzata Bay sold out with over 300 attendees.

Regatta Weekend Events

The Regatta weekend kicks off with Wine on Wayzata Bay. Hosted by the Wayzata Yacht Club, the evening is open to the public. With a wide variety of vintners, over 150 wines are available for tasting. Local restaurants provide hors d’oeuvres throughout the night, leaving guests free to sample local cuisine, enjoy the wine, and mingle with friends. The family day sailing Regatta begins early Saturday morning. Lake Minnetonka provides the perfect setting to enjoy the weekend on a beautiful Minnesota lake.

Our silent auction will be running all weekend during the wine tasting and regatta. Some items will close on wine tasting night, others will remain open until Sunday afternoon.
